The ACN/PCN Calculator is a powerful tool designed for pilots, flight operations engineers, dispatchers, airport operators, and others to assist them in verifying the bearing strength limitations of both flexible and rigid airport pavements. Utilizing the ICAO ACN/PCN method as outlined in Annex 14 and Document 9157 Part 3, this app simplifies the process of determining the maximum allowable aircraft weight for safe operations on runways, taxiways, and aprons. To provide the most accurate results, the aircraft database used by the calculator is sourced primarily from manufacturers published data, such as the Aircraft Characteristics for Airport Planning (ACAP) manuals. However, when manufacturer data is not available, alternative data or ICAO methods are used to ensure the reliability of the results.
Designed for iPhone 8+ screen sizes, and can also be used on iPad.
